Dear guests,

In order to ensure a pleasant and safe stay, we have developed hygiene and protection measures for our guests and employees. The measures are updated and adapted by us according to the official regulations.

  • General measures
    • On the official website of the state of Schleswig-Holstein you will find all necessary information always updated.

    • All operational processes are organised that a generous distance is maintained.
    • Our entire team wears a mouth-nose covering (according to state regulation at least a medical or comparable mask).

    • Please observe the so-called coughing etiquette, which also applies when sneezing: Keep your distance, turn away and use a disposable handkerchief or the crook of your arm.
    • Hand disinfectant are available in all public areas. Please disinfect your hands before entering the hotel.
    • A high level of hygiene is part of our philosophy at the Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof. Our entire team is extensively informed and trained about the special hygiene and protective measures, additional disinfection intervals have been implemented in accordance with official regulations.
    • Mobile air cleaners filter the air in public areas to 99.95 % virus-free and provide additional safety.
    • Our employees are tested every 72 hours using a rapid antigen test and are instructed not to come to work if they feel sick.
    • Guests with symptoms of respiratory tract infection or fever are not allowed to enter the hotel. Should symptoms occur during your stay or during the incubation period after your visit, please inform us immediately.
  • Reservation and arrival day
    • For reservation, we require your full contact details.
    • Please keep to our arrival and departure times as far as possible, so that we have enough time for preparation and follow-up work and avoid unnecessary guest overlaps.Guests arriving from a foreign risk area must observe the quarantine regulations.
    • Arrival is only possible with additional certified test for fully vaccinated or recovered guests.
    • The certified test with a negative result for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, is a maximum of 24 hours old for antigen rapid test/48 hours old for PCR test and must be presented as an original document at the hotel reception on the day of arrival.
    • This is not required for guests who have a booster vaccination after complete vaccination.
    • Please present a photo ID, if you are not personally known, upon arrival.
    • Recovered guests require proof of a positive PCR test at least 28 days and no more than 6 months ago. Please present the certificate as well as a photo ID, if you are not personally known, upon arrival.
    • Children up to 7 years are exempt from testing.
    • Children aged 8 to 17 years need a negative result of a test for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which is a maximum of 24 hours for antigen rapid test/48 hours for PCR test or a certificate from their school that they are regularly tested twice a week as part of a binding school protection concept. Please present the proof as well as a photo ID, if they are not personally known, upon arrival.
    • We do not offer a shuttle service until further notice. Please travel with your own car if possible.
    • Please observe the country-specific regulations.
  • In the room and during the stay
    • During your stay, you must retest every 24 hours and present a negative result of a test for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 infection for review at the hotel front desk or send it to info@alter-meierhof.de.
    • This is not required for guests who have a booster vaccination after complete vaccination.
    • Children up to 7 years are exempt from testing.
    • Children aged 8 to 17 years need a negative result of a test for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which is a maximum of 24 hours for antigen rapid test/48 hours for PCR test or a certificate from their school that they are regularly tested twice a week as part of a binding school protection concept.
    • Terrycloth and flat linen are cleaned at a minimum of 60 °C and hot-ironed.
    • The evening turndown service is only available on request. Please contact the housekeeping by telephone.
    • Please do not stay in the room at the time of cleaning during your stay.
  • Departure
    • If possible, pay without cash.
  • Gastronomy
    • Depending on the number of guests, we use all available rooms and have adapted the furniture with generous spacing.

    • The use of the restaurants and bars is only possible with additional certified test for fully vaccinated or recovered guests.

    • Our team will accompany you to your table for gourmet breakfast. Please wait with a minimum distance in front of the restaurant.
    • We do not offer our Sunday lunch buffet for the time being and welcome you at 12:30 PM in the restaurant Brasserie for a Sunday menu à la chef.
    • In the Restaurant Brasserie we serve your dinner in two seatings: 6 to 8 PM and 8:30 PM.
    • Restaurants and bars are closed in the time of 11 PM to 5 AM.
  • Hof-Therme and hair salon
    • All guests are required to wear mouth-nose covering (according to state regulation at least a medical or comparable mask).
    • Visit of the Hof-Therme and treatments are only possible with additional certified test for fully vaccinated or recovered guests.
    • The certified test with a negative result for an infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, is a maximum of 24 hours old for antigen rapid test/48 hours old for PCR test and must be presented as an original document as well as a photo ID, if you are not personally known, when entering.
