The heart of the hotel is the Hof-Therme’s 2.000 m² spa world. The spacious indoor and outdoor pool is undoubtedly the highlight of the stylishly designed Hotel Spa. The bathing culture at the Hof-Therme includes a hamam and rasul bath as well as multiple saunas, including finnish panoramic sauna, biosauna, steam sauna, stone steam sauna and a snow shower for a refreshing cool down.

Arrival and Departure
By car from the north on the BAB7 (E45), take Exit 74 toward Flensburg on the B200/B199 toward Glücksburg (Copenhagen, approx. 3 hours).
By car from the south on the BAB 7 (E45), take Exit 3 onto the B200/B199 toward Glücksburg (Hamburg, approx. 2 hours).
By car from the Flensburg train station, approx. 20 min.
By car from Hamburg Airport (HAM), approx. 2 hours.
On the day of arrival we will provide your room from 3 pm.
We are glad to grant you free access to our Hof-Therme from 12 pm on your arrival day. You will receive bathrobe, towels, flip-flops, and a key for a lockable checkroom at the SPA reception. We do not assume any liability for valuables.
On the day of your departure please return your room key to the hotel reception by 11 am.
Feel free to use the SPA until 8:30 pm after check-out: Please take your bathrobe from your room. You will receive a key for a lockable checkroom at the SPA reception. We do not assume any liability for valuables.
Payment
On request, we book all additional services to your room bill, so you do not need cash at the hotel. To avoid confusion, please sign each receipt with name and room number directly on site. During your stay, we take the liberty of presenting you an interim invoice if the total amount exceeds 3.500 €.
Settle your bill in cash (€) as well as with debit or credit card. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Local tourist tax is due.
Parking and charging
Parking space is available at the hotel. Outside parking is charged 10 € per car/night.
The use of the charging stations are available for a fee. We charge 25 € per car/charging (8 hours) for electric vehicles and 12,50 € per car/charging (4 hours) for hybrid vehicles.
Bicycles can be stored in the bicycle parking lot. Charging e-bikes in the in the room is not permitted. Please use the complimentary e-bike locker with integrated charging station at the hotel entrance. One charging box is available per room.

RESTAURANT BRASSERIE
Throughout the day, the Brasserie is a Meeting place featuring the best cuisine and is particularly impressive view over the Flensburg Fjord. Freshly prepared egg dishes from the open kitchen, delicious coffee and tea specialties as well as a large selection of choice products at the gourmet breakfast buffet ensure a varied start to the day. Lunch is served in the light-flooded conservatory and on the spacious beach terrace in fine weather. Guests look forward to a dinner of regional classics with French inspiration. The first-class dishes from the open kitchen, the creative heart of the brasserie, promise a truly memorable evening for your taste buds.
RESTAURANT MEIEREI DIRK LUTHER
The Meierei Dirk Luther is the hotel’s culinary flagship. The restaurant has proudly displayed two Michelin stars since 2008, paying testimony to how Dirk Luther prepares the best products with precision and in harmony with modern elements. Enveloped in a stunning sea view, guests will dine under chandeliers made of stylised branches or celebrate a star menu open air on the spectacular Fjord Terrace, weather permitting.
BODEGA
Bodega is without a doubt Germany’s most northern and the Alter Meierhof’s most southern corner.To match the surroundings – true to the original in dark wood with high tables and wine racks – the eatery serves tapas and small Mediterranean delicacies from Dirk Luther’s kitchen.
VITALBAR
The bird swimmers’ breakfast treats with freshly baked croissants at the Vitalbar. During the day, guests can enjoy a homemade smoothie by the pool or in the hotel garden, as well as lunch and dinner in a cosy bathrobe.
LOBBY-BAR
The stylish lobby bar is the lively centrepiece of the hotel – like an elegant living room that invites guests to linger and enjoy. Whether it’s for a relaxing coffee in the afternoon, an aperitif before dinner or some wine in agreeable company, inviting interior, tinkling piano music and a crackling open fire promises a feel-good atmosphere.

For our daily changing 3-course-dinner-menu in the Restaurant Brasserie, we charge 90 € per person/day. Alternatively, enjoy a 4-course-dinner-menu for 110 € per person/day.

Please access all indoor and outdoor areas of the Hof-Therme exclusively in a bathrobe and swimwear, allowing yourself and other guests to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. By doing so, you help us maintain a pleasant ambience for everyone.
The use of the pool and sauna area requires thorough body cleansing. Our saunas are textile-free. Shower before bathing and before and after your sauna session. Due to hygienic reasons, we ask you not to wear swimwear and bathing shoes in the sauna. If you wish, you can use a hamam towel instead, which we keep ready for you at the saunas, as well as a towel as a seat, which is mandatory.
Our younger SPA guests (0 to 12 years old) have access to the Hof-Therme, including indoor and outdoor pool, when accompanied by adults in the time from 7 to 11 am and from 5 pm. During the summer months (June to August), we look forward to welcoming you and you children all day long in the Hof-Therme.

Non-smoking Hotel
We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is forbidden in the public areas as well as in the rooms.
The consumption of nicotin in all its forms is only permitted on the terrace and in the smoking lounge in front of the hotel. In case of non-compliance we will charge a cleaning fee of 250 €.
Holidays with your dog
Dogs are more than welcome in our hotel. In some categories (Meierhof and Fjord View Deluxe), up to two dogs are possible on request and subject to room availability.
We charge 35 € per dog/night incl. dog basket, bowl and snacks.
We would like to draw your attention to our rules for your four-legged friends. Dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved and kept on a leash throughout the hotel grounds. Dogs are not allowed in our three restaurants and in the indoor and outdoor area of the Hof-Therme. You and your dog can access the hotel garden through the side entrance; access via the restaurant is not permitted. Dogs are not allowed on the beds, chairs or sofas. As the dog-owner, you are responsible for any damage to hotel or guest property caused by your dog, as well as for any possible disturbance.
Cancellation
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge until 6 pm 3 days prior to arrival. Late cancellations will be charged with 80 % of the total amount of stay. Bookings with arrivals during holidays and special events (e.g. Martin-Luther-Rüffer) may be cancelled free of charge until 6 pm 28 days prior to arrival. Late cancellations will be charged with 80 % of the total amount of stay. We reserve the right to cancel events if there are not enough participants. Additional tourist fee is due. With a voucher you give your loved ones relaxing hours with loving hosts in the wonderful ambience of the Alter Meierhof.
